On July 4, the Guangdong Low-Altitude Economy High-quality Development Conference was held in Guangzhou. With the theme of "Guangdong's Low Altitude Intelligent Flying Future", the conference brought together more than 300 experts, enterprises and government representatives in the field of low altitude economy. Governor Wang Weizhong attended the conference and delivered a speech. Major General Wang Wei, Deputy Political Commissar of the Air Force of the Southern Theater Command, and Li Shuangchen, Director of the Central South Regional Administration of Civil Aviation attended and delivered speeches. Chen Xiangsheng,Deanof our Institute and academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Professor Hu Mingwei from Department of Intelligent Transportation attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Zhang Ping and Liu Daxiang, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, made a low-altitude economic theme report. The conference also held the establishment ceremony of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Low-Altitude Economic Development Strategy Advisory Committee and other activities, and Academician Chen Xiangsheng,deanof our Institute, was appointed as a member of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Low-Altitude Economic Development Strategy Advisory Committee.

Before the meeting, the participating leaders visited the demonstration of low-altitude economic aircraft, the latest product equipment display and the industry chain enterprise publicity exhibition.
